Mayabeque, Cuba__ The boxers of San Jose de las Lajas ratified their hegemony in that sport, winning once again the first place, this time in the category of 14-15 years, during this weekend in Güines.
Those of the provincial capital concluded with three crowns and a subtitle, while the representation of Madruga followed them m with two gold medals, one of silver and one of bronze.
Quivicán occupied the third place, with a golden medal, three silver and two bronzes. With a monarch each, Jaruco and Güines were placed in fourth and fifth respectively.
Batabanó closed the table of positions with two of silver and two third places and Havana one subtitle and three bronzes.
The winners, on the final program of ten combats held on Saturday, became provincial champions. Félix Castillo, from Madruga, was the winner in the division of 44 kilograms, Germán Castillo from the capital of Mayabeque in the 46 and in the 50 Yandry Causse from Madruga. Also the lajero Ronaldo Robles dominated in 54 and the quivicanero Juan Jesus Lebranch in 57.
The 60 kilos have Rasiel Isel Oliva as monarch, from San Jose de las Lajas and Dillén Rivero from Güines in 65 and Dayron Pérez, of Jaruco is the titular in 75.
Out of competition, Havanas’ Yordán Muñoz defeated Leonardo Ledón from Batabano in a 50 kilo combat and Yusdel Matos, from Quivicán, win over Dayron Rondón from Havana.
Ronaldo Robles was the most outstanding fighter of the event, winner in the 54 kilograms and equal distinction between judges and referees was received by Osleivis Castellano Villafranca, both from the capital of this young province.
