Mayabeque, Cuba__ Güines’ players beat Batabanó and Quivicán in qualifying matches for the semifinal stage of the Provincial Baseball Championship, 9-10 year category.

The athletes from the Villa del Mayabeque defeated Batabanó by knockout in the first challenge with 18 runs, eleven hits and one error while Batabanó scored six, with two hits and five mistakes in the field.

Yadiel Rodriguez lost the game while the winnerd Sergián Perez also shined at bat, due to two connections in four times at bat, including a double that brought in a run and a home run.

For his part, Luis Daniel in three times at bat produced four races resulting from two homers.

In the challenge against Quivicán, the pupils of Fidel Armenteros achieved the victory by repeating the knockout dose. Güines with 17 runs, eight hits and three errors, while Quivicán five runs, four hits and six errors.

The victory was for Alexander Thiago and the defeat for Joibel Santana. Alexander Thiago, twice at bat with an annotation and one impelled. Luis Daniel three in four and a triple, Yan Carlos Salazar with four hits, two races to his account and one impelled stood out in this game.
