Mayabeque_ For the first time in the young history of the demarcation, the baseball team of the municipality of Nueva Paz won the provincial title in category nine-ten years.

Nueva Paz and the visitors from Güines divided honors, in fierce double game celebrated in grounds of the Adelfo Hernández stadium of Los Palos.

According to the regulations, in case of a victory for each team the title would be awarded to the one that made the majority of races in the sum of the two games and that favored the locals by scoring 20 over 19 of Güines.

After these results, Nueva Paz team was crowned the new Champion and finished with the supremacy kept by Güines in the last three editions of the baseball in that category.
