Mayabeque, Cuba__ The province of Mayabeque obtained two silver medals and an equal bronze number in the recently completed International Boxing Tournament Giraldo Cordova Cardin in Memoriam.

Havana’s Sports Coliseum hosted the event, where the athletes of the young demarcation demonstrated competitive level and technical-tactical skills in the ring.

Osbel David Caballero, of Batabanó was defeated by the Thai, Chactchi Poubitc, in a combat of the 56 kilograms.

According to Agustín González, Yasmani Reyes, boxer from San Jose de las Lajas, lost with the experienced Osvary Morel from Villa Clara by unanimous decision.

The bronze medals were achieved by Ramón Carrión, in the lightweights and Reinaldo Charón, in the superpesados, both from Santa Cruz del Norte.
