Mayabeque, Cuba_ The members of the Federation of Middle School Students (FEEM) in Madruga will work in the care and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the municipality, as part of the activities to commemorate the 57th anniversary of the Young Communists League (UJC), this April 4th.
This was announced by the president of the FEEM in the territory, Adriana Fajardo Pérez, who said that the work days will begin next Tuesday, March 26, in the Pantheon of Loma de la Gloria.
This patrimonial site is the first that was visited in Cuba to pay tribute to the mambises of our wars for independence and is located in one of the highest elevations of the head town.
There the young people will carry out work of plating, cleaning and beautification of the area with the supervision of the specialists.
As part of the celebrations for the date, the middle school students in Madruga will dedicate time to local history with workshops, meetings with combatants of the Revolution and visits of social historical interest.
They will also carry out an extensive program of cultural and sports activities awaiting the 57th anniversary of the UJC.
