Mayabeque, Cuba_ The International Theater Day is celebrated every March 27, with a broad participation of artists dedicated to that artistic manifestation. In Batabanó the group Las Olas prepares its presentation to salute the date.

According to the actress and general director of that group, Eneida Villalón, today they will begin the re-position of the one-person show Motivaciones, which deals with the theme of memories.

With the participation of students of the pre-university education in the territory, the room will open its doors this March 27 at 2:00 in the afternoon, and on  March 29 and 30 too.

Las Olas group goes through its seventeenth anniversary and today has its own headquarters. The road has had many obstacles for its members, who despite responding to the principles of the dramaturgy for adults, ventures every year in children's theater.

The means and resources required by each of their presentations, with the staging of different works is a challenge.

"Producing and doing theater is a feat”, Eneida said.
