Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Young Computer and Electronics Club 1 and 2, of San Nicolás, are the options that the inhabitants of this territory have to approach the computerization process.

According to the head of these facilities, Hector Hernández, the short courses are the most demanded modality by the users, which demonstrates the high impact of technologies, information technology and communications in the community.

Within the themes stand out the Microsoft Word and Power Point programs for children and young people, while for adults the Windows operating system, graphic design, Photoshop and Microsoft Excel.

It is important to note that almost 20 people, mostly children and adolescents, attend the facilities daily.

The fundamental activities are focused on tournaments and video game launches, calls for digital competitions, the promotion of the Mochila package with its varied options, as well as workshops on different topics of computer technologies.

Another significant element is the work with the elderly and the disabled.
