Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Secretary General of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC), Ulises Guilarte De Nacimiento, presided over the handing over of the Twenty-First Congress flag to the delegation of this province that will participate in the great labor event.
In a solemn ceremony held at the Agrarian University of Havana "Fructuoso RodrÃguez", Guilarte De Nacimiento referred to the good preparation that the delegates should have so they will meet in work commissions at the conclave, to analyze different topics of economic and social interest.
He stressed that the Twenty-first Congress of the CTC will be a contributing, combative and enthusiastic event. "We are not going to a conference of slogans and exhortations, but of achievements, commitments and demonstrations to achieve the prosperous and sustainable socialism to which we aspire".
The ceremony was attended by Yanina de la Nuez Aclich, first Secretary of the Party in Mayabeque, Tamara Valido Benitez, President of the Assembly of People's Power and Ismary Diaz Cabrera, general secretary of the Cuban Workers Federation in the province.
