Mayabeque, Cuba: The central act for the 57th anniversary of the Young Communists League (UJC) and the 58 of the Organization of José Martí Pioneers (OPJM ) took place at the Plaza of the Internationalists of this province located in San José de las Lajas.

Those present at the event had the opportunity to listen live and direct broadcast from Birán in the eastern province of Holguín, the call to the 11th Congress of the UJC made by Susely Morfa, first secretary of the National Committee of the organization.

Morfa read the document where it expressed that the maximum meeting of young Cubans will take place in April 2020, after a year of debates about our future as a country. Historical appeal, she said, because we are doing it from the place that cradled the dreams of childhood and youth of Fidel and Raúl Castro Ruz.

After the call, the general secretary of the UJC in Mayabeque, Hamlet Valdés León expressed: "the Cuban youths and as part of them, those of Mayabeque we must assume that this is our moment to promote the work of the Revolution".
