Mayabeque, Cuba: The agricultural company Rubén Martínez Villena of the municipality of Madruga, over fulfills the plan of sale of fruits for the tourism in the first quarter of this year.

More than one thousand 860 hectares of land are planted with pineapples, mangoes and other tropical products of proven quality.

A high percentage of these assortments is destined to the commercialization through the Company of Selected Fruits to be offered in cruises and hotel centers and facilities, including mango, pineapple and avocado whose production is above five thousand tons, according to information provided by the director of the entity, Miguel Angel Acosta Martínez.

These natural fruits are processed in agro industries to make nectar, juices, soft drinks, puree, jams and sweets in syrup.
