Mayabeque, Cuba: Today April 10 marks the 58th Anniversary of the creation of children's day care centers on the initiative of Vilma Espin and promoted by the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.

These educational institutions favor the full integration of women into society and play an important role in the formation of children from the earliest ages.

Que siempre brille el sol, is the name of one of the four day care centers of the municipality of Güines, where infants perform their daily tasks and acquire knowledge through different areas of development such as: The Mother Tongue, Elementary Notions of the Mathematics, Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, Knowledge of the World of Objects and Phonic Analysis.

According to the children of that center, they play, sing, recite, learn to write numbers, to make geometric figures, to distinguish colors, among other knowledge.

José Martí said: "For children we work, because they are the ones who know how to love, because they are the hope of the world".
