Mayabeque, Cuba: Team one of Mayabeque, integrated by the Güineros: Henri Soto Hernández, Lemay Vega, Holman Hernández and Eduardo González, occupies at this moment, the fourth position among 22 national teams, in the contest of the University Chess Festival, AJEDUNI 2019.

The GEILA Company and the Camagüey Academy occupy the second and third places of the competition by adding six points, as well as Group One of Mayabeque. Havana Equipo dos and Pinar del Río are in places five and six of the classification, in that order.

The other team of this demarcation is composed by Alejandro García, Yoisel Fundora, Carlos Castro and Alejandro Palao, this last Provincial Chess Commissioner in Mayabeque.

The top is occupied by the selection that represents the Guantánamo Chess Development Group (GIDA), winner of all the matches faced. Richard Alejandro García, who from the third board has won all his games, has contributed the most for this success.

In total there will be seven rounds and this Thursday, in the fifth round, they face in the first tables GIDA-Mayabeque one of Güines, Havana two-GEILA and Camagüey-Pinar del Río.
