Mayabeque, Cuba: The most integral and outstanding students of the Universities of Mayabeque, visited the city of Cienfuegos as part of the Avanzada 20 de Abril.

The hosts of the pilgrimage were the students of the House of Higher Studies of Cienfuegos, Carlos Rafael Rodríguez.

The group participated in a program of political, cultural and recreational activities in the territory of Cienfuegos. The most gratifying experience was the climb to the highest point in the western part of the country, Pico San Juan, where they reaffirmed once again that they are the continuity of the Revolution.

On April 20, the members of this vanguard group visited the José Martí Memorial and in the square of the Agrarian University of Havana paid tribute to the martyrs of Humboldt 7, on the 62nd anniversary of his death.

During the meeting, they recognized Norlan Hidalgo and Amílcar Herrera Albear as honorary members of the Avanzada 20 de Abril, for their trajectory and accompaniment to the University Student Federation (FEU) and the Young Communists League (UJC).
