Mayabeque, Cuba: The judoka Anailys Dorvignà won a bronze medal in the opening day of the Pan-American Championship of this sport, which awards points for the continental ranking.

The four medalists contributed 200 points to the Pan-American ranking and managed to reach the semifinals in their divisions.
