Mayabeque, Cuba: The Pedro Albizu Campos Teacher Training Provincial School promotes the preparation of early childhood educators.

The purpose is to contribute to the teaching coverage for the work at preschool levels, in day care centers and primary schools, as well as in the "Educate your child" program.

The provincial methodology of early childhood, Magalys González Pérez, explained that five graduations have been carried out in the pedagogical school, which is favorable because they largely meet the needs in terms of teaching coverage in the territory.

"This course was a challenge, because our plan was to prepare 60 teachers and today we have 65 in the classrooms. The school also has an annex in Bejucal, which we intend to convert into another pedagogical center ".

The preparation of future early childhood educators looks for new ways of doing in each teaching scenario and renewing the contents so that the children develop their abilities and personal, intellectual and socio affective qualities.

"At this moment we are engaged in the process of recruitment, which in recent times has been consolidated and once they graduate from the pedagogical school, they can work in the three modes of attention of our educational level and after four years of the career, they can go directly to the university and become professionals in our country, " González Pérez added.
