Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque specialists participate in the Eighth National Event ECO-ARRROZ 2019, which meets at the Scientific Base Technology Unit (UCTB) Los Palacios, in Pinar del RÃo, Radio Guamá publishes.
During the meeting it was known that the UCTB Los Palacios, of the westernmost province of Cuba, exported certified seeds of the INCA-LP5, 7 and 20 varieties, obtained in the youngest province.
The Doctor of Science, Alicia Alonso Becerra, Deputy Minister of Higher Education gave the conference "The University-Business Link" during the opening day, and the scientific event will focus the debate on rice production and other grains in the country.
Specialists from the provinces of Artemisa, Havana and Matanzas also participate in this edition, as well as representatives from the Cuba-Vietnam project and the Mexican researcher, Dr. C. Elsa Ventura.
In the continuation of the program of the Eighth National Event ECO-ARRROZ 2019, the Rice Group Specialist, Victoria Aracelys Vila Pérez, gave the conference Demand for the Science of Cereal Production, which highlighted the introduction of research results to the process productive, which raise performance and improve soils.
