Mayabeque, Cuba: The young sugar producers from San Nicolas are ready to start the harvest at the beginning of next month.
This new productive period is distinguished by the high presence of young workforce, in each of the areas of the industry. A few days after starting the process, visitors can see the representation of motivated youth interested in starting a successful contest.
The head of the mill's area of the basculadores, Samy López, is one of the boys working in the sector. At just 22 years old, he turned out to be a very disciplined, responsible and efficient worker in the last harvest.
In this way, the commitment of the new generations to actively participate in productive tasks, in pursuit of the country's development, is confirmed.
This favors stability in the industry and helps to guarantee a better work exercise, since these workers can improve their techniques and find alternatives to the deficiencies of the production itself.
