Mayabeque, Cuba: La Demajagua Poultry Farm Base Business Unit, located in San Nicolás, is ready for the start of a new turkey fattening campaign.

Ramiro Pérez Hernández, head of production of the entity, explained that from three to ten of December they will receive approximately 40 thousand little turkeys, 160 of them with destination to the food program and the rest for the commercialization in the agricultural fairs.

The rehabilitation and improvement of the two main units that will host the small animals, together with the disinfection of the rest of the units are a priority in the Base Business Unit.
