Mayabeque__ The second edition of the Youth Radio and Television Contest Lázaro Vidal Silva Ochandía, dedicated to exalting the role of young journalists as legacy and learning of the historical leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, will be held in San José de las Lajas, capital of Mayabeque, the website of Radio Camoa publishes.

Producers from the eleven municipalities of Mayabeque and Artemisa province, up to 35 years of age, may participate in the contest, whether or not members of the Hermanos Saiz Association (AHS),.

The participants will compete with no more than two journalistic works or programs in any of the radio and television genres. The competing works must be sent in digital format, accompanied by the script or technical script, the technical file, the names of the producers who compete, the identity card number, telephone number and email address.

The jury, made up of prominent personalities from the Cuban Radio and Television Institute, will present the Lázaro Vidal Silva Ochandía Grand Prize for the best work presented on Radio; and the Best Work in Television, as well as other 2 awards in any of the journalistic genres and a special one to the work most liked by the executive of the AHS de Mayabeque, while several cultural institutions, political, social and economic organizations will deliver collateral awards.

The awards day of the second edition of the Radio and Television for Youth Competition Lázaro Vidal Silva Ochandía will be held on June 8, 2017 in San José de las Lajas, capital of Mayabeque.

The programs or works will be received until Monday May 29, 2017 in the House of the Young Creator in 40th streetm 45 and 47 corner, in San José de las Lajas.
