Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Ambassadors of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Kingdom of Cambodia in Cuba, visited the People's Power Assembly in the province and the National Center for Agricultural and Livestock Health (Censa), as part of their activities to honor the beginning of the New lunar year in Asian nations.

Sonia Díaz, vice president of the government explained the functioning of the structures and the implementation of the experiment that takes place here and in Artemisa to group functions coherent with each other with more comprehensive management bodies, an experience that will extend to the rest of the provinces of the country.

Buakeo Phumvongsay, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lao and Heng Sokphal of Cambodia, had references from the Comprehensive Attention Program to the perfection of Popular Power for greater satisfaction of the electorate, as well as the importance at national level of economic entities, located in this territory.

They also visited the exhibition on Fidel Castro and the room that recalls moments of greater importance, including the presence of Five Cuban Heroes of the Republic of Cuba, offerings dedicated to the Commander after his death and the official act of constitution of Mayabeque, as the province younger.

At Censa, a reference institution in Latin America, they pointed out leading products such as Surfacen and Stabilak, the main research lines and the development of vaccines and medicines for animal, plant and human health.

Phumvongsay and Sokphal, said they feel they are children of this country and proud of the victory that for more than 55 years maintains the Revolution, while denouncing the North American interference in the Naval Base of Guantánamo and they advocated the cessation of the blockade.

Sonia Díaz, highlighted the ties of solidarity between Cambodia, Lao and Mayabeque, nations that have in common aspects of agriculture, essentially the National Rice Program, the development of livestock and love of this endearing land of the Caribbean.

The delegation was composed of the wife of Buakeo Phumvongsay, Lao Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador, Caridad Xiomara Delgado Díaz, an official of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with Peoples (ICAP) and Yexenia Calzado, ICAP coordinator for Asian countries.
