Mayabeque_ To the eternal Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and to the martyrs, combatants and civilian workers of the Ministry of the Interior in the province was dedicated the cultural political activity on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the founding of this structure, according to Radio Camoa.

At the meeting were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel the officers Mayulexy Martinez Rosa, Vladimir Espinosa Mesa and Misladys Rivas Álvarez.

Defenders of state security, protection of leaders, interior order and citizen tranquility were also promoted to the rank of Major Leydi González Jorge, Niuris Fernandez Figueroa, Yasser López Fernandez, Jorge Luis Roque Bermúdez, Amable Raúl Casañas Brito and Yamilet Acosta Álvarez.

A special recognition was received by the Ministry of Interior from officials of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power, the People's Provincial Court and the Young Communists League, an organization that awarded a group of youngsters the state award Abel Santamaría Cuadrado.
