Mayabeque, Cuba_ About 18 thousand 617 interventions generated in Mayabeque the analysis of the Guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the Revolution for the period 2016-2021.

Keeping the balance between state-owned socialist enterprises and cooperative ownership in relation to the financial income is among the 1638 proposals presented in the debates carried out in the People's Power Assemblies and the political and mass organizations of the province.

Other concerns during the consultation process of the Guidelines are associated with the need to increase workers' wages, decrease the prices of products and control the supply and demand of assortments.

In this exercise of democracy, 1,450 meetings were carried out, where the participants talked about organizing the transportation of passengers, improving state services, raising the attention of professionals in the education sector, the quality of life of the elderly and increasing the birth rate.

The requests have to do with the insufficiency of inputs to the peasants who received land by Decree Law 300, to increase the productions, to correctly apply the policy of cadres, to take measures to eradicate the illegalities, the diversion of resources and the social indiscipline.

Mayabeque proposes 3338 amendments to help preserving social justice, and the outcomes in the health, education, social security and defense sectors, and the economic development.

The most reiterated proposals were related to the need to deepen the study of all documents emanating from the Seventh Congress of the Party and to achieve greater dissemination of the perspective until 2030.
