Mayabeque_ The day planned in Madruga for the Territorial Defense Day has the leading role of villagers to promote important activities of combative preparation and sanitation.

The defense zones of Pipián and Aguacate, the most vulnerable to floods due to intense rains, are now carrying out river drainage, cleaning of tragantes, pruning of trees, and other actions that allow reducing the risks and protect the community.

In the municipal head and in areas of the Boris Luis Santa Coloma Sugar mill, the Territorial Day of the Defense includes the training of the brigades of rapid response and the punctuation of the missions for the war time of the groups of the economy, subordinates to the Municipal Administration Board.

Odalys Morales Franco, President of the Defense Council and First Secretary of the Party in the territory, explained that the tasks of this Sunday are included in the military training plan of 2017.

They have as their main objective to continue raising the combative preparation of the people and the unity around the Revolution and the preservation of the conquests of our socialism.
