In the Casa de la Décima of Mayabeque, Díaz-Canel congratulated those who contributed to the works to establish this cultural center and those who work to maintain this Cuban tradition alive, which involves the singing of learned or improvised stanzas of ten octameter verse lines called décima, and was recently declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
