Pyongyang_ North Korea today rejected accusations by the United States of a supposed cyber terrorist attack of great proportions that Pyongyang would be preparing.

The official government newspaper of the Workers' Party of Korea, Rodong Sinmun, repudiated through a comment the false rumor that signals the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) of committing, through hacker groups, theft of funds and information.

It also rejected statements from Japan about alleged incidents of cyber attack against his country, including the recent case of hacking against a large stock of virtual currencies.

Rodong Sinmun's comment recalls that every time a hacking incident occurs, the United States and its allies try to tarnish the image of North Korea by unfairly and stubbornly relating it to it.

'Behind that, there is their sinister attempt to expand the space of anti-DPRK pressure to the cyber space, unsatisfied to criticize it for the nuclear weapons program and that of 'human rights',' it stressed.

In addition, it added that they pursue the goal of justifying their hostile policy against North Korea and further encourage the environment of sanctions and pressure against it on an international scale.
