Paris_ Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said that the French Police foiled the project of an attack that was at an advanced level, by capturing the suspect on the outskirts of Paris, Prensa Latina reports.

Cazeneuve, who gave no details on the identity of the individual, emphasized that no tangible element links this project to the attacks in Paris in November 2015, and Brussels, on last March 22th.

The police suspects that he is involved at a high level in a terrorist network that planned to hit France, and as part of the operation a small amount of explosives was discovered in his home.

After the recent bombings in Brussels, the French government announced the strengthening of security at the borders and the transport infrastructure across the country.
