Havana_ Former president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, continues to lead all the polls ahead of the presidential elections in October, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

Although there are already 11 candidates for the presidential elections, Lula leads widely in each of the polls and the Workers' Party, to which he belongs, is the best valued by Brazilians, according to the Ibope portal.

Lula keeps his intention to stand as a candidate for the vote and, as part of his work agenda, he announced the presentation of his book "Truth Will Win: People Know Why They Condemn me", in which he defends his innocence of the judicial processes he is facing, among other issues.

The announcement of the book comes a few weeks after the Brazilian Justice pronounces definitively on the appeal filed by Lula's defense against the 12-year prison sentence for passive corruption and money laundering.
