Hanoi_ The president of South Korea, Moon Jae In, began today a three-day official visit to Vietnam to attend an invitation from his colleague Tran Dai Quang, Prensa Latina publishes. 

Bsides his wife, he is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Kim Dong-yeon, and the heads of foreign portfolios, Kang Kyung-wha; Science, Technology, Information and Communications, You Young-min; Commerce and Energy, Paik Un-gyu; and Earth, Infrastructure and Transport, Kim Hyun-Mee, among other officials.

During his stay here until Saturday, the dignitary will hold official talks with Dai Quang and will meet separately with the General Secretary of the Communist Party, Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and the President of the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi. Kim Ngan.

He will also meet with the Vietnam Under-23 football team, which under the direction of South Korean coach Park Hang-seo conquered the silver medal in the Asian Championship.

The visit of Moon Jae In has been surrounded by great expectations given the level reached by the bilateral relations, especially after the signing of a comprehensive partnership agreement in 2001 and strategic partnership in the 2009

Both governments intend to increase trade exchanges to 100 billion dollars in 2020, from its current 63 thousand 900 million.

South Korea is the largest foreign investor in Vietnam with more than 57 billion dollars, almost a quarter of the total foreign capital placed in the Indochinese nation.
