Caracas_ The head of the Simón Bolívar Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, reiterated today the invitation of the Venezuelan government for an international accompaniment mission to attend the presidential elections and of regional and municipal legislators on May 20, Prensa Latina reports.

During a joint press conference with the general secretary of Movimiento Somos Venezuela (MSV), Delcy Rodríguez, the vice-president of Communication and Culture described as a world reference the electoral system of Venezuela, where elections number 25 will take place in 18 years of the Bolivarian Revolution.

He stressed that the Movimiento Somos Venezuela, which supports the candidacy of President Nicolás Maduro for his re-election, reached one million registered and brings together representatives of 24 sectorial networks in the country.

The Minister of Communication and Information also highlighted the heterogeneity of this socio-political group, which integrates members of the art, culture, sports, politics, sex diversity and other productive sectors in an organized manner.

"It has managed to become an example of action in the streets and communities of the South American nation," he said.

He emphasized that the MSV is part of the Broad Front of the Homeland and keeps an active work in each community of the country to strengthen the comprehensive attention of the Venezuelan people.
