Caracas, Venezuela_ The president of the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela, Maikel Moreno, described as absurd the merit pre-trial against the President Nicolás Maduro promoted by a group of lawyers based abroad, Prensa Latina reports.
Moreno denounced that ex-prosecutor Luisa Ortega, a fugitive from justice, is part of that farce that is prepared with the consent of governments of other countries.
The head of the Venezuelan Supreme Court said that these lawyers: are at this time outside the law and required by different courts of the Republic, for the alleged commission of crimes against the Fatherland and the administration of Justice.
Therefore, he summoned the judicial authorities of the world to reject those acts and suggested seriousness to the countries that unite the actions of this group of individuals that attack the integrity of Venezuelan justice and the good name and performance of its more than 3 thousand judges.
