Mexico_ The president of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, is going to participate today in the IV Nuclear Security Summit, which will session until tomorrow, Prensa Latina reports.

A statement from the Mexican Foreign Relations Secretary (SRE), announced the participation of the president to that event, that expect the attendance of authorities from 52 countries with the aim of analyzing national and international actions to ensure the security of nuclear materials.

Likewise, avoiding the risks inherent to those materials, including their use in terrorist’s activities.

“In this IV Summit, Mexico will summon the attending countries to place the national and international efforts in relation with the nuclear security in a wide context so to advance towards a world free of nuclear weapons” the statement concluded.
