Managua_ The national dialogue for peace in Nicaragua continues Monday in this capital, in the midst of demonstrations in favor and against the government that began more than a month ago, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

After two days of relative calm thanks to the truce agreed on last 18, the parties focus on finding a solution to the social crisis that affects the country.

Cardinal Leopoldo Brenes, president of the Episcopal Conference, who mediates in the dialogues, recently asked for peace and reconciliation among Nicaraguans, and called on the people to build routes in that direction and not to fill hearts with hatred.

Today, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (CIDH) is expected to present a preliminary report on its work visit.

In this first approach, the CIDH’s mission met with representatives of the government, civil society, Church authorities, students and relatives of the victims of the events that occurred in April.
