Managua, Nicaragua_ The president of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, affirmed that the main challenge for his compatriots is to advance towards peace, a peace with justice, health, education, work and security for all, Radio Reloj publishes.

Ortega spoke on the celebrities for the Mother’s Day, overshadowed on this occasion by new acts of violence from the opposition right, unleashed first against social security reforms and later expanded with political demands.

The deputy director of the National Police, Commissioner Francisco Diaz, reported that vandalism elements attacked participants in a cantata in honor of the mothers this Wednesday, and caused damage to the new baseball stadium Dennis Martínez and the station Tú Nueva Radio Ya.

As a result of these attacks, two members of the Sandinista Youth died and another 12 people were injured, including 4 police officers.
