Guatemala_ The National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (Conred) has confirmed the temporary suspension of rescue operations due to bad weather conditions, following the recent waking of the Volcan de Fuego, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
Rescue brigades were working fast in the so-called zero zone because the order to stop the search definitively could arrive at any time after four days of this natural tragedy.
According to the National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology, a wave from the east will cause rain from Thursday and possibly until the weekend.
The latest report of the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (Conred), increased the number of injured from 44 to 58, while more than 12 thousand people are evacuated in 21 centers authorized by the government and churches, and those affected exceed the 1.7 million.
