The United States is prepared to offer North Korea guarantees of different and unique securities, unprecedented in the history of nuclear negotiations between the two countries Radio Rebelde, reports.

This is what Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said today during a press conference in Singapore, venue of the historic summit between Donald Trump and the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, tomorrow morning.

Without offering details of the unique security guarantees that Washington will offer to Pyongyang, Pompeo stressed that, in exchange for them, the only thing that the Trump government will accept is the complete and verifiable denuclearization of the Asian country.

Pompeo reiterated that sanctions against North Korea will be kept until Pyongyang completely and verifiably eliminates all its weapons of mass destruction.

The head of the US’ diplomacy added that Trump recognizes the desire for security and interest in economic development, shown by the North Korean leader, and affirmed that the head of state is willing to help Kim in this if he makes the right decisions.
