Pretoria_ South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, participates today in a round table of the World Economic Forum to analyze the main obstacles faced by this country: poverty, inequity and unemployment, Prensa Latina reports.

 This meeting in Johannesburg will be attended by representatives of the Government and the business community, who will discuss issues of common interest related to the economic prospects of this nation of southern Africa.

An official statement recalls that in his first speech to the Nation last February, after assuming the presidency, Ramaphosa announced among measures aimed at achieving an inclusive growth, South Africa ought to focus on increasing direct local and foreign investments.

Those investments aimed at mobilizing resources for the creation of jobs and economic growth over the next five years, will significantly contribute to achieve the objectives identified in the National Development Plan and improve national economy, adds the communique.

The minister of Finance, Nhalanhla Nene, and the regional chief of Strategies of the World Economic Forum, Elsie Kanza, will meet with reporters to offer details of this meeting behind closed doors.
