Moscu_ The presence of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz at Havana’s Jose Marti airport to welcome the first group of Chernobil’s children is highlighted today by the news channel Rossiya 24, Radio Reloj publishes.
Before giving some fragments of an extensive report that will be broadcast tonight, the TV channel highlights that an example of the island's care to this solidarity project was the presence in March 1990 at the Jose Marti airport of the creator of the humanitarian program that lasted more than 21 years.
The segment broadcast today morning showed the special envoy of Rossiya-24 channel at a Havana street while commenting that the multidisciplinary care plan taking place at Tarara beach, about 20 kilometers east of Havana, began just when Cuba entered the greater economic crisis after 1959, called "special period."
