Brasilia_ Renan Calheiros, head of Brazil’s Federal Senate ignored the decision of his homologue of the Chamber of Deputies Waldir Maranhao and said that the impeachment process against President Dila Roussef will continue, Radio Reloj publishes.
Calheiros called Maranhao’s decision as untimely.
The session of last April became null of complete right due to the mistakes commited”, he said who mentioned among other aspects the fact that the political parties cannot guide the vote of their members.
According to Vanessa Grazziotin, leader of the Communist Party of Brazil in the Senate, the head of this House was disrespectful not only with Maranhhao but also with all the Brazilians who support Roussef.
“We are not discussing a law draft or an amendment to the Constitution, we are talking about removing a President, who was democratically elected”, Grazziotin said.
