Paris_ A survey showed that 72 percent of French people do not want the president Nicolas Sarkozy, leader of the Republicans Conservative Party as a candidate for the elections of 2017, Radio Havana Cuba reports.
Only 21 percent of those questioned think he would be a good head of state, a parameter that stood at 37 percent in February 2015, according to the survey conducted by the Viavoice institute for the Libération daily.
According to 76 percent of the French, Sarkozy has not changed since 2012, when he concluded his five years in the Elysee Palace.
The next presidential elections will take place on April 23 and May 7, 2017, recently announced Stephane Le Foll, government spokesman.
The legislative will be held on June 11 and 18 June that same year, he said to the media.
