Hanoi, Cuba_ Pham Binh Minh, Foreign Minister of Vietnam and Secretary of State, John Kerry, held talks in Hanoi on the development of relations between the two countries, in the context of the visit of President Barack Obama to the Asian country, the digital site of Radio Reloj publishes.

At the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the results of the talks between the US president and the highest Vietnamese authorities as well as the agreements signed in different sectors.

They also discussed international issues of mutual interest like promoting a central role of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean), to help ensure peace in the region.

Representatives of Vietnam and the United States signed documents for the development of cooperation in various sectors, including the response to natural disasters.
