Caracas: The Venezuelan Government is making progress on Tuesday to stabilize the National Electric System (SEN), following the new electromagnetic attack on July 22, Prensa Latina reports.

Supervised by the Electric Staff, the institutions in charge are carrying out diagnoses in different affected areas to ensure a stable service, Sectoral Vice President for Public Works and Services Nestor Reverol said.

Reverol, who is also the minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, posted on Twitter that the SEN's priorities are currently addressed to guarantee the generation, transmission and distribution of the energy load throughout Venezuela.

'I met with the members of the Electric Staff national commissions to review the progress and diagnoses in different areas of the system, taking care of the different priorities: generation, transmission and distribution to stabilize the SEN,' Reverol wrote.

In face of the new electromagnetic attack on the Simon Bolivar Hydroelectric Power Plant, in Bajo Caroni, Bolivar state, President Nicolas Maduro said recently that he would present a detailed report on those responsible for the actions and the damage caused to the SEN.
