Washington: A series of false alarms for shooting in public places in different US cities have taken place in the wake of the massacres that occurred last week in El Paso (Texas) and Dayton (Ohio), which claimed the lives of 31 people, causing panic among people, as seen in a series of videos shared in the social networks, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

This Tuesday there was a stampede of dozens of people who confused the noise of a sign that fell to the ground with a gunfight in a shopping center in West Valley City (Salt Lake City, USA), according to Russia Today.

In Baton Rouge (Louisana) the authorities evacuated a Walmart after an altercation provoked rumors about an alleged shooting. Although a man was armed, an official confirmed that at no time were shots fired.

Hours later a crowd made up of hundreds of people had fled in panic in the Times Square in Manhattan (New York) after confusing the noise generated by the exhaust of a motorcycle with a gunfight.

This Wednesday, the Police made a large deployment at the headquarters of the US media USA Today, located in Tysons Cornern (Virginia, USA), after being alerted to the presence of an armed man. Hundreds of people were evicted from the facilities, where there are also offices not related to the environment.

However, they found no evidence of any act of violence or of anyone being injured, so the FBI ruled out that a shooting had occurred. The hypothesis that a person could have scared a security guard with a firearm is considered.

Governments in several countries have alerted their citizens to the danger of traveling to the United States for fear of new acts of violence and murders.
