Montevideo: The Frente Amplio (FA) represented by candidate Daniel Martínez, continues leading the vote intention in Uruguay with 37.3 percent, according to the latest survey carried out by the Radar Group, presented Tuesday in the local press, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.

Meanwhile, between the candidates of the traditional National Party (PN) and Colorado Party (PC), Luis Lacalle Pou (21.8) and Ernesto Talvi (20.4) respectively, the difference of only 1.4 points makes the definition of the second favorite to the elections be very close.

For Lacalle Pou, the short distance with Talvi is worrisome, since as the gap narrows their numbers and those of the Colorado candidate fall within the margin of error.

Guido Manini, of Cabildo Open, presents 9.5 percent support, while Gonzalo Abella (Popular Unit), Pablo Mieres (Independent Party) and César Vega (PERI) harvest about one point each in the intention to vote.

Edgardo Novick (People's Party), Daniel Goldman (Digital Party) and Rafael Fernández (Workers' Party) do not even reach that popular support figure, according to the research.

A study prepared by the consultant last month placed the same parties leading in the top three positions. However, the percentages varied reflecting the last study a growth of the FA of almost two points (before it had 35.5), a fall of the PN of 0.8 percent (previously it had 22.6) and a slight increase of 0.9 in the case of the PC.
