Buenos Aires: The electoral calendar continues today in Argentina with six formulas in search of the presidency and vice-presidency in October to come, already convened by the authorities to organize the first television debate, Prensa Latina publishes.

According to the National Electoral Chamber, the fronts that will be in the generals of October 27 were called for September 5 at the first hearing, in which it will be defined how the first of the two debates will be held, where the presence of all political forces in contention is expected.

The summons was made through an order in which the presidential candidates are summoned to the seat of the Court, where personally or through their representatives, they express their willingness to participate in the mandatory presidential debates.

So far, the candidates publicly stated their intention to participate, although the law states that whoever is absent is sanctioned with the non-granting of audiovisual advertising spaces, the Parliamentary portal recalled.

With dates scheduled for October 13 and 20 respectively, the Universidad del Litoral, in the province of Santa Fe, will set the stage for the first duel of the candidates to reach the Casa Rosada.

The second meeting is scheduled just one week before the elections at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.

After accumulating more than 12 million votes that place him as the candidate with the greatest chances of triumph, Alberto Fernández, of the Frente de Todos, goes ahead to the polls, followed by President Mauricio Macri, whose proposal, Together for Change, accumulated 32.9 percent.

Also in the presidential race are the former Minister of Economy Roberto Lavagna (Federal Consensus), Deputy Nicolás Del Caño (Left-Unit Front), the former General Director of Customs and former combatant of the Falklands War Juan José Gómez Centurión (NOS) and the economist José Luis Espert (Despertar).

On the other hand, for the vice-presidency are ex-president Cristina Fernández for the Frente de Todos; Senator Miguel Angel Pichetto accompanying Macri; the governor of Salta, Juan Manuel Urtubey, companion of Lavagna; Deputy Romina de Plá, duo of Del Caño; former Congresswoman Cinthia Hotton, supporting Centurion, and journalist Luis Rosales with Espert.
