Hanoi_ The president of the National Assembly of Viet Nam, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, reaffirmed today that her country will continue making the highest efforts to promote the development of the relations with Cuba, Radio Reloj publishes.

Kim Ngan pledged to do everything possible to strengthen bilateral ties, a goal he has always pursued as head of the Association for Vietnam-Cuba Friendship.

The legislator voiced interest in increasing exchanges between both legislative organs, including high-level visits with that end.

When referring to the current state of relations, the Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam, Herminio López said that the main challenge is still strengthening the economic-commercial ties at the political levels.
