Azerbaijan: During his inauguration speech at the eighteenth summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (Mnoal), the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said that through economic actions, the imperialism intend to snatch the sovereignty and self-determination of nations, Prensa Latina reports.

The Venezuelan president urged Mnoal on Friday to find an alternative economic model that represents the economic scheme of capitalism.

"It is about finding, through the debate of nations, alternatives that put an end to the economic suffering of the great majority," Maduro said.

The Azerbaijani capital, Baku, hosts on October 25 and 26 the eighteenth summit of the Mnoal with the participation of 120 countries, including Cuba and Venezuela, a nation that will grant the presidency pro tempore to the host state.
