Mexico: The president-elect of Argentina, Alberto Fernández and the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, pledged to strengthen the commercial and political ties between the two nations, which are currently very weak, Radio Habana Cuba reports.
In a private meeting both governors discussed the importation of meat and other local products from Argentina to Mexico, where there is great demand.
Fernández and López Obrador discussed Mexican plans for young people who do not work or study, to evaluate the possibility of implementing something similar in Argentina.
The visit of the elected president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, to Mexico is his first after winning the elections on October 27.
The meeting with his counterpart Andrés Manuel López Obrador seeks to form a new economic alliance, given the serious financial crisis left by the outgoing president, Mauricio Macri, in Argentina.
