Montevideo_ The Foreign Ministers of Argentina, Brazil,, Paraguay and Uruguay meets this Monday to analyze the Transfer of Mercosur’s pro tempore presidency to Venezuela, Radio Havana Cuba published.

The meeting intends to find a way out to the Brazilian and Paraguayan government’s rejection to Caracas taking over the presidency, which corresponds to each member state in a rotating basis every six months.

The Executive, led by Tabaré Vázquez, reiterated in a statement by the Foreign Ministry the willingness to pass over the presidency to Venezuela.

The text added that hopefully, "the big challenges currently faced by the regional integration process can be overcome through respectful and deep dialog".

The government told the press in late June that "nothing ha changes" and confirmed the pro-tempore presidency will be passed on to Venezuela in late July.
