Maduro praised the management of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), whose representatives for the dialogue, have strove to find a peaceful end to the political dispute in the country.

The Venezuelan press reported on Monday, July 11, the possible resumption of talks by mid this week, according to statements by Secretary General of the Union of South American Nations, Ernesto Samper.

The Democratic Unity Board opposition alliance, announced new requirements at the negotiation table, like the presence of representatives of the Organization of American States Americans and the Vatican.

They also demand the liberation of supposed political prisoners like Leopoldo Lopez, condemned by leading a revolt in 2014.

The opposition force is also asking to carry out a revocation referendum against the president, although Maduro and his collaborators assured it is impossible to do that before 2017.
