París_ The French authorities arrested a new suspect as part of the investigations on the attack to a church in Normandía and liberated two of those retained after discarding their implication in the facts, Granma newspaper publishes.

Three people are still under arrest in the mark of the investigation on the hostage’s taking on Tuesday in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, which ended with the death of the priest Jacques Hamel, 86 years old.

The two attackers were already identified as Adel Kermiche and Abdel Malik Petitjean, both of 19 years and known by the antiterrorist services because of intents of traveling to Syria for presumably join extremist groups.

The person arrested yesterday is a claimant of Syrian asylum which passport was found in the Kermiche residence, while the liberated ones are the sister of Malik Petitjean and a friend of her, after checking that they are not related with the attack.

A 30 years French, Malik Petitjean’s cousin, and a 16-year-old adolescent continue under investigation.

The church attackers had some relationship with the self-named Islamic State (EI) because in the momento of the attack they said to belong to that terrorist group, which hours later claimed the responsibility for it.

EI published a video in Internet where two young swears loyalty to that organization, apparently Kermiche and Malik Petitjean.
